LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization)
Optimizing for brand presence in the answers and recommendations of large language models. The term most widely used in Japan's marketing industry; effectively synonymous with GEO.

LLMO is the label that stuck in the Japanese SEO and marketing community, while overseas the same discipline is usually called GEO or AEO.
A distinctive aspect of the Japanese LLMO discussion is the KPI shift: from traffic (流入) to recommendation (推奨). Because AI-search users often decide without clicking any link, “how you are talked about” replaces “how many visits you got” as the success metric.
